The Excellence in Stroke Award and Oration recognises an outstanding clinician or researcher who has dedicated their career to advancing stroke prevention, care, and outcomes. We are delighted to announce that the 2025 oration will be delivered by Professor Helen Dewey, a highly respected leader known for her contributions through Eastern Health and Monash University.

Throughout her distinguished career, Professor Dewey has been a mentor, collaborator, and advocate for excellence in stroke care and research. Her influence has shaped the careers of many clinicians and researchers in the field.

Join us at ANZSOC 2025 on Friday, 5 September, as Professor Dewey reflects on her journey and the evolution of stroke care in Australia.
