Shegaw Zeleke
I am a PhD student at the University of Wollongong, enrolled in the School of Nursing. My research primarily focuses on multicultural health and stroke care, aiming to understand how diverse cultural and religious beliefs influence stroke care in Ethiopia, particularly pre-hospital stroke care.
My aim is to contribute to the development of culturally appropriate strategies and interventions that can improve pre-hospital stroke care-seeking behavior in Ethiopia. Through this work, I hope to address existing health disparities and promote better health outcomes for individuals from multicultural backgrounds in the region.
