Thalia Field
Dr. Thalia Field is a stroke neurologist and clinician-researcher at the University of British Columbia, where she is an associate professor in the Division of Neurology and holds the Sauder Family/Heart and Stroke Foundation Professorship of Stroke Research. Her research focuses on clinical trials and stroke in younger adults, particularly cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) and adults with congenital heart disease. She was the principal investigator of the SECRET trial and parallel registry, which examined treatment strategies and prognosis in CVT, and is currently leading a national longitudinal study examining brain health in children and adults with congenital heart disease.
